01 / OUR SCIENCE

Beyond the
measurement.

Air pollution is a global problem.
Exposure is deeply local.

We study particulate matter, its chemical composition, and the environments where people encounter it. Our work connects rigorous aerosol measurement with questions of community exposure and environmental health.

Led by Professor Richard Peltier, our group brings together laboratory instrument development, field observations, and collaborations with communities around the world.
